Jesuran Rak-Sakyi scored in Charlton Athletic's 2-1 win against Exeter City on Saturday afternoon at St. James Park.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi timed his run perfectly to get on the end of a clipped pass and volley home to put the game out of reach after only ten minutes. And it was 2-0 when Corey Blackett-Taylor went through the City defense and scored his sixth goal of the season.

But the Grecians recovered, and Demetri Mitchell scored his first goal for the club just five minutes after coming off the bench.

Exeter City had lots of possession and a number of corners, but couldn't convert them and, in fact, failed to threaten an equalizer.

The win took Charlton up to 12th in the League One table and within a point of City. The loss dropped the Grecians down to 11th, and is now five games in a row on home turf where they have failed to taste victory.
