Ex-Ghana international John Paintsil is backing his former Black Stars teammate Michael Essien to enjoy a successful coaching career.
The Chelsea legend has sight his sight on a job in the dugout and has in the past year been working towards that career.
Just last week, Michael Essien has earned a coaching gig with Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland where he has been added to the team's coaching staff for the 2020/2021 football season.
Speaking to Max FM in an interview, John Paintsil has stressed that he is confident the midfielder will easily do the job.
“Michael will do this job easily, sometimes players who have played to the highest level easily become good coaches, look at Frank Lampard, Scott Parker, and others. Essien does not talk too much and those people when they enter coaching they do it perfectly”, Paintsil noted.
At FC Nordsjaelland, Michael Essien will work under tactician Flemming Pedersen as well as his countryman Mas-ud Didi Dramani.
