John Terry Takes a Dig on Instagram at Chelsea Youngsters Who've Got it Way Too Easy Today

Chelsea captain John Terry doesn't seem to enjoy how youngsters go about nowadays, but he will still engage in some of their activities from time to time.

Take #ThrowbackThursday for example. The Blues defender was actively involved this Thursday and posted a photo, on Instagram,of himself when he was nothing more than a youngster trying to climb up through the ranks.

Back then, youngsters had to clean the kits and boots of the senior players, and rumour has it that they actually enjoyed doing it. The image shows Terry carrying what appears to be a bunch of sweaty gear somewhere to be cleaned.

The caption read:"16 years old. Cleaning the kit, showers, toilets and boots was a great learning experience coming through the ranks and something the kids miss out on today."

That seems to suggest that Terry believes that today's football youth are being pampered at clubs. But it could also mean that he wants the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ola Aina to wash his draws.

Terry is now fighting for a place in Chelsea's starting 11, and hasn't started a Premier League match since getting injured against Swansea back in early September. He recovered from his injury to find things quite different at the back, with Antonio Conte having switched to a three-man defence.
