Joseph Paintsil bags brace in KRC Genk 5-1 win over Gent

KRC Genk recorded a 5-1 heavy away victory over Gent at the Ghelamco Arena.

Tanzania forward Mbwana Samatta opened the floodgate for the visitors on the 17th minute of the game.

Two minutes later, the former Ghana U20 star doubled the score for Genk before Dieumerci Ndongala made it 3-0 on the 27th minute as Dylan Bronn pulled one back for the home side.

On the 67th minute, Ruslan Malinovskyi registered his name on the score sheet for KRC Genk before Paintsil completed their victory.

Paintsil netted his second goal of the day on the 73rd minute with a brilliant finish.

He lasted for the entire duration of the match with his compatriot Joseph Aidoo.

The 20-year-old midfielder has bagged two goals in his 11 appearances for KRC Genk since joining them this summer.
