LA Galaxy manager, Greg Vanney has eulogized Ghana international Joseph Paintsil following his exploits in the sides triumph over San Jose Earthquake in the Major League Soccer.

The former Genk winger scored a belter and provided an assist to help his side snatch victory in his second competitive game for the club.

Paintsil has become an instant hit for LA Galaxy having scored a goal and provided two assists in two games since his arrival.

“He gives us a whole new threat or danger that we haven’t seen or had,” the LA Galaxy coach said after the match.

Vanney is confident Paintsil can lead the team to success in the 2024 Major League Soccer campaign.

“I look forward because I see what this team is capable of even on a night like tonight, and knowing the guys are still coming together and getting healthy and all that kind of stuff, I really am excited about the group we have,” Vanney added.

Paintsil moved to the MLS in February after ending his stay in Belgium with KRC Genk.
