Juventus to Battle Manchester City for Real Madrid Attacking Midfielder Isco

Serie A giants Juventus will battle Manchester City for the signing of Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco.

The 24-year-old has featured in 12 La Liga matches so far this season, scoring twice and adding three assists. After initially finding appearances difficult to come by at the start of the season, the Spaniard has gone on to feature in Zinedine Zidane's team more regularly in the last few months.

However, it seems likely that Isco will leave the club sooner rather than later, with the former Malaga man yet to agree a new contract at the Bernabeu, and he could leave the club in the near future with some of Europe's biggest teams interested.

Tuttosportreport Isco will not sign a new deal with the La Liga giants, and is reportedly on the radar of Juventus directorGiuseppe Marotta. With the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic and Paolo Dybala already at the Serie A club, Juventus have an abundance of attacking talent, and the possible recruitment of Isco could turn their side into one ready to challenge the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona for the Champions League.

Manchester City are also interested in signing Isco, with Pep Guardiola eager to add the midfielder to his impressive roster of playmaking talents, which already includes the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Ilkay Gundogan.

Juventus are also monitoring the situation surrounding James Rodriguez. The Colombian has featured in just eight La Liga games this season, scoring once and has been unable to convince Real boss Zidane of his pedigree.
