Liverpool face competition forBorussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud from Serie A side Juventus. According to reports fromLive4Liverpool, the Italian side are set to offer€15m for the 20-year-old's services.

The Reds were linked with a move for Dahoud during last summer's transfer window but Gladbach didn't want to sell their star asset. Juventus are now looking to swoop in ahead of Liverpool and snatch the Syrian-bornmidfielder in January.

Dahoud does have a huge engine, apparently great on the ball too,but he's not so big and his stats really don't show more than Hendo/Lallana

The Germany under-21 international's contract expires in 2018 and it's believed there is a clause that allows the youngster to leave for just€10m within the final year of his contract.

Dahoud has made seven appearances for the German side this season. recording two assists and a pass percentage of 80.3%. One of the 20-year-old's assists came against Barcelona in the Champions League, impressively picking out his team-mate Thorgan Hazard to open the scoring.

Juventus also have their eye on Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel and Boca Juniors wonderkidRodrigo Bentancur, but the Italian side have identified Dahoud as their key transfer target once the transfer window opens after Christmas.

Liverpool look well equipped in centre midfield with the likes of Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Lucas, and Georginio Wijnaldum competing for places. However, Lucas may be heading for the exit door after failing to appear regularly under Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, opening up a space for Dahoud.

Fellow Premier League side Manchester City are also believed to be in the running for the Gladbach player, who is regarded as one of the biggest talents in the Bundesliga.
