Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana provided an assist in Southampton's 3-1 win against Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.

The head-to-head record for the teams before the game was Southampton one win, Birmingham City no wins, and one draw.

Kamaldeen Sulemana started the game at the Friends Provident St. Mary's Stadium and lasted 76 minutes.

Southampton had dominated the early minutes but had produced nothing decisive until Harwood-Bellis nodded in the ninth-minute opener.

Stuart and Adam Armstrong executed a short-corner routine before the latter lifted for the Manchester City loanee to score his third professional goal.

On the left side, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Stuart Armstrong combined well before the Ghanaian whipped the ball across the face of goal for Carlos Alcaraz to make it 2-0.

Jay Stansfield scored the consolation goal for the away side in the 58th minute.

Adam Armstrong added his name to the score sheet in the 86th minute.
