Kante Demands Chelsea Fight for Every Game & Warns Nothing Is Won Yet Despite Blues' Lofty Position

Chelsea's all-action midfielder, N'Golo Kante, has warned his teammates not to take their current lead at the top of the Premier League table for granted, despite sitting nine points clear of Tottenham after a 3-1 demolition of London rivals, Arsenal.

The Blues simply outclassed the Gunners at Stamford Bridge in every department, with goals from Marcos Alonso, an outrageous solo effort from Eden Hazard and former Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas.

Antonio Conte's side are now overwhelming favourites to regain the crown they surrendered so cheaply last season, however, speaking to Chelsea'sofficial website, Kante and his colleagues are refusing to take their dominance for granted.

Every season is different “ this season, there are a lot of competitors for the title and there is still a long way to go.

We can't say we are close to the title, we just have to fight for every game.

It's not finished and a lot of things can happen. It was an important week for us with Liverpool and Arsenal, we took four points out of six, and this was a good win for us.

The Frenchman's words are reminiscent of his footballing attitude, constantly striving to improve and never refusing to give maximum effort, despite the very real possibility that he will be claiming two consecutive Premier League crowns.

The £33m paid by Chelsea to Leicester for the former Caen man is arguably the bargain of the season, with Kante almost revolutionising the Blues' stale midfield from what was a torrid campaign in 2015/16.

The 25-year-old will no doubt be in the lineup as Conte's side look to continue their impressive form on Sunday as they travel to Turf Moor to face Burnley.
