Karela United Coach Johnson Smith draws positives from Hearts defeat

Coach of Premier League new comers Karela United Johnson Smith says there are a lot of positive from the defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak in the GHALCA G8 opener. 

The Premier League newcomers were beaten in the G8 opener, through Isaac Mensah's goal.

However, the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko believes there are more to pick from the defeat.

“It is good for opportunity for we the upcoming clubs to compete with some premier league teams and with match against no other team than Hearts, the performance wasn’t bad.

“I hope my boys will pick up in subsquent matches for us to get somewhere before the start of the league,” Smith said in a post-match interview.

Karela United will next face Ebusua Dwarfs in the second game on Wednesday.
