Kassim Nuhu opens goal scoring account for Fortuna Düsseldorf

Ghanaian international Kasim Nuhu opened his goal-scoring account for Fortuna Düsseldorf on Sunday afternoon as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Borussia Monchengladbach.

The two clubs locked horns on match week five of the German Bundesliga at the Borussia-Park hoping to bag all 3 points.

At the end of a drama-filled encounter, Borussia Monchengladbach who played as the home team reigned supreme despite conceding the first goal of the game.

Kasim Nuhu who is on loan from TSG Hoffenheim gave Fortuna Düsseldorf on the 6th minute as he enjoyed his full debut for the side.

They could however not hold on to the lead and allowed their opponent to grow in their strides, leaving them to draw level on the 74th minute through Marcus Thuram.

A second from Thuram on the 87th minutes was enough to hand Borussia Monchengladbach all 3 points at the end of the 90 minutes.

Kasim Nuhu lasted the entire duration of the match after fulling recovering from his injury.
