Kelvin Yeboah's FC Augsburg escape relegation despite losing to Borussia Monchengladbach

In a nail-biting showdown on the Bundesliga stage, Kelvin Yeboah's FC Augsburg managed to defy the odds and secure their escape from relegation, despite suffering a heartbreaking loss to a formidable Borussia Monchengladbach side.

Kelvin Yeboah who is on loan at FC Augsburg from Italian side Genoa started the game from the bench at Stadion im BORUSSIA-PARK.

Yeboah came on in the 58th minute to replace Arne Maier.

Luca Netz's left footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner of the net gave Borussia Mönchengladbach the lead in the 3rd minute. Netz'z goal was assisted by Jonas Hofmann.

Jonas Hofmann made it 2-0 in the 40th minute. His right footed shot from the centre of the box landed in the bottom left corner. Hofmann's goal was assisted by Lars Stindl.

Robert Gumny of FC Augsburg was shown a red card in the 45 + 1 minute.

Kelvin Yeboah played 13 games, scored one goal, and assisted one in the Bundesliga this season.
