A new force has evolved in the Volta Regional Football Association Division Two League following the arrival of Keta Football Club. The 2023-24 league campaign, commenced with new entry Keta FC but after just first round of the season many can not stop lauding the young team who is in their maiden season.

Keta FC trade their mark in the Southern Zone B of the Volta Regional Football Association Division Two League. After a successful first round of matches, Keta FC leads the zone with fifteen (15) points. The debutants played eight (8) league matches to sit summit of the zone having amassed more points.

The Keta and Anlo outfit have being impressive throughout the campaign, suffering just a defeat. Harvested four victories with three draws.

The most talked about is their goalscoring ratio. Offensively, they've been potent, scoring twelve (12) sterling goals, while defensively, they've conceded seven(7), leading to a positive goal difference of five (5) and three cleansheets.

This performance underscores not just their competitive spirit but also their significant potential and determination to leave a mark in their debut season, bringing pride to Anlodua and setting a high bar for future engagements in the league.

Despite, their first season in the Division Two League Keta FC have exhibited historic performance to sit top of their Zone, aiming to secure qualification to the promotional tournament.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club, Mad. Valentine Enyonam Apetorgbor expressed excitement over the enigmatic performance displayed so far by Keta FC.

"I'm excited the first round of the league has ended with a lot of positives to learn from. However, the coaches deserve a honour likewise the players for place top of our Zone" Is a great hallmark considering it being your first campaign.

"But we have to avoid complecency because the main aim is to qualify to the middle league. This performance deserves celebration and more but let's maintain the momentum", she said.

Madam Valentine Enyonam has contributed immensely to the growth and development of talents in the Volta Region having already set up Hogbe FC Juvenile teams.

Including Anlo FC a Division three club and Keta FC, a Division Two League outfit having about 150 young talented players scouted within keta and it enclaves representing the various levels of football.
