Ghanaian player Kevin Prince Boateng has stated that he can't wait for his side's Bundesliga game with former team Borrusia Dortmund.

Eintracht Frankfurt  will face Borussia Dortmund this weekend in a German Bundesliga fixture.

Boateng so far has been exceptional since joining Frankfurt from Spanish side Las Palmas.

The former AC Milan player says it will be emotional going back to play against a team he was once a key member.

“Definitely. I always enjoy playing against my former clubs. I had a very good time at Dortmund. I’ll come face to face with a lot of old friends, so it’s going to be very emotional,” he told eintracht.de

“I look forward to every game though, particularly at home. Everyone who has set foot in our stadium knows about the incredible atmosphere here.

“The Frankfurt fans are exceptional. It’s going to be a great game on Saturday and I obviously hope we can get a positive result for our fans.”

Boateng spent six months on loan at Dortmund in 2009 when he played under current Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
