Kevin-Prince Boateng writes goodbye message to Monza

Kevin-Prince Boateng wrote a goodbye message to Monza on his official Instagram account today after sealing a move to Hertha Berlin.

"Thank you thank you thank you BAGAI! Sorry I am not / we were able to bring this great club and club where it deserves to be, in Serie A !! Thanks also to doctor GALLIANI. see you soon @acmonza I keep you in my heart with me," he posted on Instagram.

Last season Boateng made 25 appearances in the Serie B for Monza. He scored five goals and assisted four goals.

The 34-year-old sealed the deal to the German Bundesliga on Wednesday after passing a medical.

Boateng was unattached after his contract with Serie B club AC Monza expired at the end of the season.

The attacking midfielder joins the Bundesliga club from the Italian side AC Monza and has signed a contract running until 2022.

Kevin-Prince Boateng will wear number 27 at Hertha Berlin next season.
