Ghana Premier League returnees King Faisal are set to complete the signing of Asante Kotoko duo Evans Owusu and Samuel Frimpong in the on-going transfer window, Footballghana.com can report.
King Faisal have officially written to the Porcupine Warriors Asante Kotoko for the availability of their two bench warmers as they look to get their league campaign back on track after a slow start.
The two players have been struggling for playing time since the arrival of coach Maxwell Konadu in December last year and are currently deemed surplus to requirement.
Owusu joined the Reds from lower-tier side Charity Stars earlier last year while Frimpong was signed by coach Paa Kwesi Fabian two years ago.
King Faisal have already signed Asante Kotoko midfielder Ibrahim Osman on a season-long loan deal.
