King Faisal's appeal against Tamale City dismissed - Reports

According to reports in the local media King Faisal's appeal against Tamale City on player double identity has been dismissed. 

Three weeks ago the GFA Disciplinary Committee dismissed King Faisal FC's protest case against Tamale City FC in relation to their betPawa Premier League Matchweek 30 game which was played at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

King Faisal FC protested against their opponent for fielding an unqualified player, Isaac Mensah in the said match who they claim has another registration in the system as Jireh Kojo Nissi.

The first verdict stated that the player Isaac Mensah who played in the said match was duly qualified to play. The GFA Prosecutor was tasked to investigate the registration of Jireh Kojo Nissi and locate and charge all guilty parties in his registration.

The new verdict after the appeal according to the reports states that the first dismissal has been adopted. The GFA Prosecutor will still conduct an investigation into the registration of the player.

King Faisal has been relegated from the Ghana Premier League after placing 17th with 42 points.
