Kingsley Osei scores twice as Asante Kotoko beat Lazio FC in friendly game

Kingsley Osei Effah continued his impressive form for Asante Kotoko as he bagged a brace in their 3-1 win over Lazio FC in a friendly game at the Baba Yara stadium on Tuesday.

The Porcupine Warriors took the lead in the 33rd minute of the game after Sam Adams dribble past the backline of Lazio FC before teeing up his onrushing teammate to make it 1-0.

Maxwell Baakoh then assisted Kingsley Osei Effah with an incise pass to make it 2-1 moments after the lower tier side had equalised.

Kingsley, who was a delight to watch bagged his brace with an instinctive finish to hand Maxwell Konadu's side a well deserved victory ahead of their match day three fixture in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Berekum Chelsea midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from the club despite joining the Reds less than six months ago.

His teammate Maxwell Baakoh made a return from injury to feature for the side after being on the sidelines for over 10 months injury.
