Ghanaian giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has severed ties with midfielder Sam Adams, information reaching footballghana.com has revealed.

The former Aduana Stars midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors club in December 2019 to give the team a squad boost for the 2019/2020 football season.

In a campaign where the 29-year old struggled for playing time, he has now become surplus to requirement ahead of the start of the new season next month.

Today, sources have confirmed that Sam Adams has finally left Asante Kotoko after severing ties with the Ghana Premier League record holders.

It is understood that the decision became necessary after the Reds signed a number of top midfielders in the transfer window.

The player does not want to stay on the bench and has hence left the club. He will hope to secure a move to another club in the next 3 days before the local transfer window shuts.

If not, he will stay at home until January before he gets the chance to move again.
