Asante Kotoko attacking midfielder Maxwell Baako has returned to action after spending the last ten months on the sidelines to treat a long-term injury.
The talented midfielder sustained a nasty leg injury back in February 2018 and has been missing from action for the past 10 months.
He made significant progress in the last couple of months and has been working on getting back to full-fitness to ensure he gets to play a part in the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season for the Porcupine Warriors.
In a Kotoko friendly match with Lower Division side Lazio FC, Maxwell Baakoh played his first match after the 10 months lay-off.
He was handed 46 minutes of play by manager Maxwell Konadu as the Reds continued preparations for their next Premier League match against Berekum Chelsea this weekend.
