Kotoko chase Burkina Faso forward Aristide Bancey

Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to make a shock move for Burkina Faso international Aristide Bancey as they seek to improve their squad for the upcoming season. 

According information gathered by footballghana.com, the porcupine Warriors have began talks with the experience forward as they seek to make an impact in Africa next season.

Kotoko will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup next year, after winning the MTN FA Cup and have began early business in other to achieve their target of reaching the group stages of the competition.

The well traveled forward has been capped 67 time for the stallions of Burkina Faso and could be making his 21st club football switch if he joins the Kumasi based club.

Bancey will be popularly remembered in Ghana for his goal against the Black Stars at the Cup of Nations in South Africa in 2013. He score the winner in the penalty shootouts to deny Ghana a place in the finals.

The experience forward has played for several clubs on the continent including Ivorian giants Asec Mimosa and Egyptian side Al Masry.
