Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Steve Pollach has heaped praises on the players for giving their best in their 1-0 victory Tema Youth.
The Porcupine Warriors prior to the game had not won in eight games but the win was a massive boost for the club as the second round of the league began.
Baba Mahama scored the only goal of the game to hand the Kumasi based side all three points.
''We have prepared very well for the game, it was an exciting game from both teams, but I think the better team won,” Pollack said after the game.
''We dominated the game and I must applaud by boys for the good mentality they showed,
''Right from the blast of the referee’s whistle they gave in everything and showed they need the victory more,'' he added.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will host Accra Great Olympics in Match Day 17 of the Ghana Premier League.
