Fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko are calling for reductions in the ticket prices for the game against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The two sides will be meeting for the fourth time this season but this will be Kotoko’s first competitive game after their horrific accident last month.
Prices for tickets ahead of the game stands at GH¢100.00, GH¢50.00, GH¢20.00 and GH¢10.00 for the VVIP, VIP, Center line and the popular stands respectively.
However, Chief of the supporters Union Mr. Obeng Sekyere says the prices are to exorbitant and the fans are calling for a reduction.
"They are charging GH¢100.00, GH¢50.00, GH¢20.00 and GH¢10.00 for the VVIP, VIP, Center line and the popular stands respectively.
"The supporters are saying that it’s quite unusual for them and therefore they need a reduction. I would talk to the leaders and see if they could do something about it for us." He told GNA.
The last time the two sides met the Porcupine Warriors emerged victorious after beating the Phobians on penalties to lift the President Cup.
