Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has revealed that Burkinabe import Sogne Yacouba could be on his way out of the club and has urged their fans to prepare their minds for life after the player.

In a recent radio interview, General Manager for the Porcupine Warriors, Mr. George Amoako has indicated that they have already started preparation for next season in a way that will not affect the team’s setup when the attacker finally leaves the side.

“Kotoko is preparing without Songnè Yacouba so I entreat the fans to forget about him. We are planning without him that is why management has signed equally good players to replace him”, he said.

According to the experienced football administrators, Kotoko could also possibly lose the services of some of their top players and that is why they have been busy in this transfer window where they have managed to sign over 10 players.

“We are losing the services of key players like Fatawu, Yacouba, Kwame Bonsu, and Daniel Darkwah. It’s likely all of them might go”.

“We have to plan to replace them. That is why so many names are being bundled around”, George Amoako said in an interview with Oyerepa FM.

The Porcupine Warriors have intensified preparations for the 2019/2020 season as they bid to make a good case for themselves in the next edition of the CAF Champions League and maybe the local league if it does make a return.
