German-born Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng is set to mark his full debut for Besiktas today after being handed a starting role for the club by manager Sergen Yalçın to face İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.
The forward joined the Turkish side on deadline day of the winter transfer window from Italian Serie A side ACF Fiorentina.
Last weekend, he climbed off the bench to play his first match for Besiktas in their 3-0 win against FK Gazientap. At the end of the day, he opened his goal-scoring account to start off with a bang in the Turkish Super Lig.
Ahead of his team's meeting with İstanbul Başakşehir F.K this evening, he gets to start and will hope to perform well to help his club-record the win that will earn them all 3 points.
KP Boateng has been deployed in a midfield role alongside Egyptian international Mohammed Elneny.
