Ghana Division Two League side Kwaebibirem United FC has announced the signing of defender Christopher Bonney.

The Right back joins the Evergreen from Ghana Premier League club Karela FC.

Christopher Bonney, the former National U-20 player, was one of the key players for Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarf in 2012. Bonney joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko in 2013 to 2016.

After an impressive performance over the season, Ghana’s Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, signed Bonney in the year 2017 to 2019.

After signing his contract the defender said he is excited to join the Evergreen.

“I am so grateful to Kwaebibirem United and its ownership for doing everything they could to make me a part of this team. I am super happy and excited to join the pride of Kwaebibirem,”

Kwaebibirem United FC bought Bonney to help strengthen their defense in the ongoing Eastern Regional Division Two League.

Kwaebibirem United FC will take on Vidako SA in their next league game on Sunday. The game will kick off at 3:00 pm at the ASEC Park in Asuom.
