Kwame Kusi eager to start new chapter of his career at FC Phönix Lübeck

German-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Kwame Kusi says he is eager to start life at his new club, FC Phönix Lübeck.

The 31-year old has today sealed a transfer to the German lower division club to give them a squad boost in the upcoming football season.

Speaking in his maiden interview, Kwame Kusi has expressed his readiness to get going at the new club.

“I'm looking forward to the new task in Lübeck. My long-time friend and advisor Emanuel Gyasi and Frank Salomon were quick to convince me. I also knew Daniel Safadi before”, he said as quoted by the club.

The 31-year old has loads of experience playing in the lower leagues of the European country and has been poached by the Lübeck-based club to bring it to bear in the upcoming season.

Kusi, a combative midfielder last played for Hamburger SV II and has also had stints with Holstein Kiel, VfR Neumünster and SC Fortuna Köln in the past.
