Canadian-born Ghanaian striker Kwasi Poku was the star of the show as Forge FC clinched a 2-1 win against Pacific FC in the Canadian Premier League on Sunday.

The match, held at Tim Hortons Field, saw Poku play a full game and score two impressive goals to secure the victory for his team.

Before the game, Forge FC held a commanding lead in the head-to-head record with 12 wins, while Pacific FC had only 4 wins, and 3 matches ended in draws. However, Pacific FC started the game strongly, with Ayman Sellouf converting a penalty with a right-footed shot to the top right corner in the 33rd minute.

Forge FC responded quickly after the break, with Poku scoring his first goal in the 47th minute. Tristan Borges provided the assist with a cross, and Poku finished with a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner.

Poku then scored the winning goal in the 85th minute with a left-footed shot from very close range to the top right corner, following a corner.
