Nations FC 1-2 Medeama SC

Medeama Sporting Club showed a lot of character on Wednesday evening to beat Nations FC 2-1 in their second match of the 2024 GHALCA competition.

The two clubs are among the teams selected to compete in the GHACLCA competition to aid their preparations for the 2024/25 football season.

In the game played at the TnA Stadium today, Medeama SC scored first through Diawisie Taylor in the first half to go into the break with a narrow lead.

After recess, a pulsating contest ensued between the two teams as both sides battled for a goal for different reasons.

While Medeama SC pushed for an insurance goal, Nations FC battled for a goal to restore parity.

Although Nations FC will get that all-important goal, a late strike from Cudjoe sealed a 2-1 victory for Medeama SC at the end of the 90 minutes.

The win comes after Medeama SC lost 1-0 to Bechem United last Sunday in their first match of the 2024 GHALCA competition.

The team will now prepare to take on Sekondi Eleven Wise in the next match of the competition.
