Ghanaian international Kwesi Appiah has began the search for a new club after he was left out of the Crystal Palace first team squad for the 2016/17 Premier League season.

The 24-year-old recently recovered from a long-term injury sustained on international duty with the Black Stars.

However, he was unable to impress Palace manager Alan Pardew who opted for Christian Benteke after letting Dwight Gayle leave for Championship club Newcatsle.

His agent Saif Rubie is confident of landing the player a move in the loan window in the lower-tiers of English football.

For the moment, Appiah will have to make due with gametime in the u-21 league as an over-aged player.

The striker was initially considering a loan move away from The Eagles after falling under the pecking order at the Club.
