Nico Williams has jokingly asked Spanish national teammate, Lamine Yamal to be learning from him.
The duo have grabbed the headlines in the ongoing 2024 European Championship in Germany.
Yamal and Williams combined as Spain dominated defending champions, Italy in their final Group B game to record a 1-0 win with Riccardo Calafiori scoring an own goal.
Following Spain's win against Italy, Williams joked: "I've already told him [Yamal] that he has to learn from 'his father', me!"
Nico Williams also added that he had spoken to him and emphasised the importance of enjoying these extraordinary and upbeat times.
The pair returned with a superlative performance in their Round of 16 clash against Georgia as Spain recorded a commanding 4-1 win.
Williams scored a stunned as the 2010 World Cup winners progressed to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Yamal and Williams will hope to come alive when they come up against Germany on Friday.
