Ex-Ghana international Laryea Kingston has called on Ghanaians to allow Black Stars coach Avram Grant to see through his contract in peace. They have been numerous calls on the Sports Ministry and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to fire current coach of the Black Stars Avram even before his contract runs out. Ghana under the tutelage of the Israeli have gone four matches without a win leaving supporters of the Black stars as well as pundits calling for his sack. However, the for Black Stars winger Laryea Kingston believes Grant can lead the national team to success if given the necessary support and backing. “I will not advice we sack coach Avram Grant because he has some few months on his contract and we must allow it to end, or else be prepared to pay a compensation to him. For this reason i wish he would be allowed to complete his contract with us and later we can let him go,” Kingston told Hot FM. “Ghanaians should not panic, the Black Stars always prove when all hopes are lost and i believe they will do us proud in Alexandra,” he concluded. Ghana will face Egypt in Alexandra on November 13 in a 2018 World Cup Qualifier, a game the Black stars just win to ease their chances of qualifying for a fourth successive world Cup.
