Ghana attacker Latif Atta Blessing has taken to social media to express his delight after grabbing a brace in Sporting Kansas City’s 3-0 win over FC Dallas in the US open Cup match.

The 20 year old pointed out he was inspired by the presence of Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah and former Ghana captain Joe Addo, who were there to scout Ghanaian players in the Major League Soccer.

The former Liberty Professionals striker who joined the club after winning the MVP in the Ghana Premier League posted on Facebook he was happy by the presence of the technical men of the Black stars.

“When you've got something to prove, there's nothing greater than a challenge.

"Let me use this platform to say a very big thank you to head_Coach Akwesi Appiah and Mr Joe Addo, for the wonderful visit today. Your presence at the stadium today was huge for me. I scored two goals tonight and am really excited about it.”

Blessing won the Ghana Premier League goal king last season and has already found the back of the net four times for Sporting Kansas city after 11 games.
