Ghanaian international Latif Blessing marked his first MLS start with two goals to help Sporting Kansas City earn a 2-2 draw against Orlando City SC on Saturday night.

Blessing became the youngest player in Sporting Kansas City history to score twice in a competitive match.

The former Ghana most valuable player opened the scoring for Kansas City in the 9th minute after a slick penetrating move by his side.

The Ghanaian’s goal was cancelled immediately after striker Larin equalized for Orlando Magic before World Cup winner Kaka extended their lead.

However, Latif Blessing was on hand in the 74th minute to get the leveler for sporting Kansas City with another fine finish.

Blessing played 82 minutes for his side. The talented youngster join the Americans from Liberty Professionals.
