Legon Cities FC head coach Goran Barjaktarevic has emphasized that he is confident his team can improve in subsequent games in the Ghana Premier League to ensure they pick up maximum points from matches.

The Royal club is winless after two matches in the recently started campaign after drawing 2-2 with Liberty Professionals on Match Week 1 and losing to Asante Kotoko last Friday on Match Week 2.

In a post-match interview after the clash with the Porcupine Warriors, Coach Goran Barjaktarevic says he cannot fault his players for lack of trying. However, he admits the fitness level of his players has not been up there and hence that will need to improve going forward.

“My players, they tried to do their best. I could see that that was somebody hidden from the game… I am totally positive about this. Like I said, some things you cannot improve in just a few days. And this is exactly what we need, he said.

Coach Goran Barjaktarevic added: “We have to improve our fitness. That is definitely clear to every player of us. They [the players] criticized our performance in the dressing room. They are not satisfied with this.

“Like I said we just have to work and improve on this. Because I am sure they can play much better”.
