Leicester coach Claudio Ranieri benches Amartey and Schlupp for UCL clash with Club Brugge

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has chosen to keep Ghana duo Daniel Amartey and Jeffrey Schlupp on the bench for their penultimate UEFA Champions League group clash against Belgian side Club Brugge.

Amartey lasted the entire duration of a 2-1 loss to Watford on Saturday in the English Premier League.

His place in the team has been taken by Andy King while Schlupp who came on as a substitute against Watford continues his bench warming duties.

Schlupp has been linked with an exit from the EPL champions in January because of his low playing time.

Leicester could seal their qualification to the next round with victory.
