According to talkSPORT, Fofana, completed his move from Les Verts to the East Midlands. Earlier this week, the Ligue 1 club reached an agreement after publishing a press release regarding the move.

“AS Saint-Etienne reached an agreement on Tuesday evening with Leicester, the current leaders of the English Premier League, for the transfer of defender Wesley Fofana,” the statement read, as per talkSPORT.

“The amount of this transfer is the largest ever obtained by the club.”

In response to the 19-year-old’s move to England, Fofana had little hesitation once Brenden Rogers had made contact with him regarding his future.

“I know I will learn a lot from the players and the manager here, which is one of the main reasons I came. I can’t wait to get started,” the talented youngster added.

Fofana signed a five-year deal with the club.
