Ghana winger Latif Atta Blessing says he joined Major League Soccer side Sporting Kansas City to win trophies.
The Ghanaian scored a brace to help Kansas City progress to the semifinals of the US Open Cup.
The former Ghana Premier League golden boot winner who was adjudged man of the match in the win over Dallas told reporters after the game he has ambitions of win trophies with the club.
”I’m very happy,” Blessing told reporters. “I thank Benny; he just gave me the passes to score so I give the credit to Benny. We just worked hard for the team to move forward. We are here for the cup. I’m here for the cup. I just came from Ghana to win cups for Kansas City. I’m so happy to win today.”
Latif Blessing was watched by Coach Kwesi Appiah who is in the United States scouting Ghanaian players in the Major League Soccer.
The 20 year old has now increased his tally for the club to 4 goals from 11 appearances.
