LIVE UPDATES: Ghana Premier League transfer deadline day

The second transfer window of the 2020/2021 Ghanaian football season will end later tonight.

The window which opened on Tuesday, February 16, has given clubs the opportunity to register players for the second round of the season.

In the last few weeks, clubs particularly in the Ghana Premier League and the National Division One League have taken advantage to bring in reinforcements.

In the final hours of the transfer deadline day, footballghana.com sources have confirmed that additional deals will be made before midnight.

In the last 48 hours, Hearts of Oak made the biggest signing as the club announced to unveil the official signing of highly-rated defender Caleb Ekuban on a two and a half years deal.

Subsequently yesterday, Liberty Professionals bolstered their squad with the acquisition of former Asante Kotoko striker William Opoku Mensah.

Today, struggling King Faisal have announced the signing of Ghana U-20 shot-stopper Danlad Ibrahim. The Kotoko goalkeeper has joined the fellow Kumasi-based club for the rest of the football season on loan.

Talks are reportedly ongoing between Asante Kotoko and Medeama SC over the potential sale of midfield kingpin Justice Blay.

The team continues to monitor proceedings and will update when new information surfaces.

Meanwhile, it looks like King Faisal will turn down offers from Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak for the signing of poster boy Kwame Peprah.

The latest information with regards to that transfer is that Alhaji Grusah has refused to sell his most valuable asset.
