Liverpool, Arsenal chasing Julian Draxler

With the January window on the horizon, there's plenty brewing in the transfer market. All the latest deals and potential deals can be found here.

Liverpool and Arsenal battle for Draxler

Liverpool are set to battle Arsenal for Julian Draxler with the Mirror detailing that the Germany international will become available due to the FFP burden that Paris Saint-Germain currently faces.

The Reds and Gunners could profit from PSG's need to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules with Neymar's £198 million move from Barcelona to be followed 12 months on by a £166m deal to turn Kylian Mbappe's loan into a permanent move.

Arsene Wenger has been a long-standing admirer of the former Schalke and Wolfsburg star, though Jurgen Klopp could take advantage of being a compatriot of Draxler's to persuade him to move to Anfield.

Alexis Sanchez looks set to join PSG in January with the French giants ready to beat out Manchester City for the Chile international, reports the Mirror.

The Arsenal star will become a free agent next summer, meaning a probable sale in January.

And while Pep Guardiola is desperate to reunite with the former Barcelona star at the Etihad, PSG look ready to offer a £350,000-per-week deal to convince him to leave the Premier League.

While Sanchez will initially battle with Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Edinson Cavani for a place in a probable front three, the move for the 28-year-old is motivated, in part, due to the potential for their Brazilian superstar to move back to Spain with Real Madrid.

Barca plot Ozil move

Barcelona are planning to begin talks with Mesut Ozil with the Sun reporting that the German is most likely to move to the Camp Nou next summer on a free transfer.

The Arsenal star has recaptured his best form for the Gunners and is not short of offers as his deal runs down.

Ozil favours a move back to La Liga, though PSG are also keen, with the 29-year-old set to command up to £330,000 per week as a free agent.

It's not all doom and gloom for Arsenal though as the Mail believes they will bid again for Thomas Lemar in January.

The Gunners will not match the £90m they offered in the summer though, as that figure was influenced by the potential fortune incoming from Man City had they sold Sanchez.

Real Madrid plan £80m raid for Martial

Real Madrid look set to rattle Manchester United with another offer for one of their stars, with the Mirror claiming that they plan to offer £80m for Anthony Martial.

Jose Mourinho's men have had a strained relationship over Los Blancos' pursuit of David De Gea and could clash again, with the French forward seen as a priority for Zinedine Zidane.

Martial could offer his compatriot an option through the middle in place of Karim Benzema, or operate as one of the wide forward.

Mourinho has failed to consistently bring out the best in Martial, though his form this season -- seven goals and six assists in all competitions -- has suggested he may finally have found a solution.

- Another potential exit at Old Trafford could be Luke Shaw, who has once again failed to earn a consistent run of games under Mourinho.

The Mirror believes Newcastle will offer to take the former Saints starlet on loan in January.

Chelsea appear to be front-runners to sign Hamburg super talent Jann-Fiete Arp, according to the Mirror, though Arsenal and Man City remain interested in the 17-year-old striker.

- Tottenham could bring in Bologna star Adam Masina with the Mirror claiming that the Moroccan-born Italian is a potential replacement for Danny Rose if he joins Man United.
