Liverpool Star 'Must Have Felt Like Lionel Messi' After Rescuing Three Points Against Burnley

Since Jordan Henderson picked up an injury, Jurgen Klopp has struggled to find his replacement.

After some dismal spells from his current options, the Liverpool boss may now feel that he's found the player most suitable until Henderson's return.

Emre Can, was the saviour of Liverpool's day as his long-ranged effort found the bottom corner, leaving Burnley's Tom Heaton helpless. However, Can struggled to get into the game until his unstoppable effort found the back of the net.

Former Liverpool man, now pundit, Jamie Redknapp said after the game: "He was dropping too deep and playing a role that didn't suit him, for the first sixty minutes. But as soon as he scored, he was a different player."

He further commented that: "Ask any player, when you score, you feel like Lionel Messi. After the goal, he was trying new things and playing more confidently.

Klopp has now broken the run in which his side failed to pick up points against the so called 'lesser' teams, as they haverecently dropped points to both Hull and Swansea.

Wish Emre Can scored more because his celebration is easily the coolest in the Premier League.

The Reds will now hope to be rejuvenated with their recent comeback as they travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on fellow top four contenders Manchester City, in what looks to be their biggest game of the season so far.
