Liverpool U18 coach Steven Gerrard admits manager Jurgen Klopp is always available to him for advice.
Gerrard has launched his coaching career this season with the club's youth team.
Asked how often he hears from Klopp, Gerrard told the Liverpool Echo: "As much as I want.
"I can knock on his door every day of the week if I want. We exchange messages quite regularly, I've been down to Melwood probably three or four times since the beginning of the season.
"I don't need to be around Jurgen every day, I don't need to contact him every day but I know he is there if I need him. He was really good in the process before I took this role with the advice he gave me.
"It was great to bounce a lot of questions off him, he gave me every minute that I needed to make sure I was making the right decision. His support has been fantastic, but he has got his own worries, concerns, he's got his own huge job to focus on so I don't want to be knocking too much or sending messages too much. He's been top drawer.
"I know if I pick the phone up or ask for a meeting it's instant. I'm lucky to be in that position."
