LOAN WATCH: Tottenham youngster Onomah scores stunning goal for Aston Villa

Josh Onomah was awarded man of the match on Friday 25th August, after he scored the equaliser in Aston Villa's 1-1 draw against Bristol City.

The Anglo- Nigerian midfielder, who is on loan from Tottenham this season, struck an astounding shot from 25 yards out, leaving goalkeeper Frank Fielding with no chance, in the 64th minute. This was Onomah's first ever Villa goal.

Aston Villa coach, Steve Bruce, had only complimentary things to say about Onomah after the match. “I was delighted for Josh, he's walked in the door and he's had a run of games in a matter of weeks.

“It's a great experience for him and he will have enjoyed the goal today in front of the Villa supporters."

Onomah who has also been named in the Three Lions' U21 squad, for the upcoming U21 Euro qualifiers, this week took to Twitter to express his excitement:

Onomah's goal helped Aston Villa to their first away point of the 2017-18 season. Aston Villa will seek to get their second win of the season, when they take on Brentford FC in two weeks' time.
