Lyon President Admits Arsenal and Liverpool Target Will Be Sold for Right Price This Summer

Olympique Lyonnais presidentJean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that side will not stand in the way of Alexandre Lacazette if he wishes to leave the club this summer, reports theMail.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly very keen on the player, who is among Europe's top marksmen this season so far, and Lacazette has admitted in recent days that the time has now come for him to take the next step in his career.

The Reds and Arsenal have been linked with the Frenchman for several of the most recent transfer windows, though a move has never materialised.

It appears that may be about to change however, as Aulas admitted that he will sell the player for the right price - even while he mentioned Manchester United and Barcelona among his potential suitors.

Aulas said: "If Barcelona or Manchester United one day make an offer commensurate with what Alex is worth to our club, no-one will stand in its way.

"Alex has wanted to play in a great club and Lyon does not object. We are perfectly in line."

Lacazette himself has mentioned Barcelona - albeit optimistically - as one of his dream destinations for one day down the line. However, it's believed that the Gunners and Liverpool will be right at the head of the queue to sign him in the summer as both clubs look for a new centre forward.

The player initially toldCanal+:"I think that the right moment has arrived to leave.

"I think that this summer I will need a change of scenery and discover something else, still with the idea of advancing and progressing in terms of football and as a person. I will continue to work, in the hope that good opportunities will come this summer.

"It (Barcelona) is a very big club. They have extraterrestrials upfront. It would be a dream. If that happens, great, but I am not here to say that I will take a place from Luis Suarez. But I would like to play for them one day."
