Mahatma Otoo says goodbye to Balikerispor after sealing move to Bandırmaspor

Ghanaian striker Mahatma Otoo has bid farewell to Balikerispor after sealing a move to Bandırmaspor in the on-going transfer window.

The 28-year-old penned a two-year deal with the Red and Whites lad after ending his stay with rivals Balikerispor at the end of the season.

Otoo was officially unveiled by the club on Tuesday after putting pen to paper.

"Am happy to announce to my fan that I have just signed for Bandırmaspor Kulüp Sayfası. To the Balıkesirspor and fans I appreciate you thanks for everything," he wrote on Facebook.

"To my new Bandırmaspor Kulüp Sayfası I pledge 100% to you and looking forward to achieving great heights together. Thanks and God bless," he added.

The former Hearts of Oak striker made 94 appearances for Balıkesirspor, scored 19 goals, and provided nine assists during his stay at the club.

Having impressed Coach Serdar Bozkurt since moving to Turkey, he is expected to lead the upfront of Bandirmaspor when the 2020/21 season starts.

Otoo has featured in five games for the senior national team of Ghana.

He has previously played for St. Mirren, Hearts of Oak, ES Tunis, Sogndal, Ümraniyespor and Balıkesirspor.
