Ghanaian international Majeed Waris was on target today to inspire his Racing Strasbourg side to a crucial 1-0 win against Toulouse FC in the French Ligue 1.
The former Nantes man joined Strasbourg in the winter transfer window from Portuguese side FC Porto after being benched for the entire period of the first round of the 2019/2020 season.
Now on a six-month-loan with the French Ligue 1 side, he is hoping to hit top form in order to attract a permanent move at the end of the season.
During his team’s clash with Toulouse today, Majeed Warris started the match from the bench but was later introduced in the second half on the 74th minute.
He did not disappoint and ended up finding the back of the net to hand Strasbourg an important victory.
