Mali announces 31-man squad ahead of friendly with Ghana in October

The head coach for the Mali senior national team, Mohammed Mogassouba has announced a huge squad for the team’s upcoming international friendly game against Ghana next month.

The two West African countries will lock horns in Antalya, Turkey on October 9 to warm up to prepare for the resumption of the qualifiers to the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in November.

Coach Mohammed Mogassouba is giving the upcoming friendly game the seriousness it deserves and has named a 31-man squad.

The squad is dominated by top players playing for some of the best clubs in Europe.

Notable amongst them is Everton’s Abdoulaye Doucoure as well as Adama Traoré of Wolverhampton Wanders.
