Man City Goalkeeper Willy Caballero Heaps Praise on 'Total and Complete Professional' Joe Hart

Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero has praised Joe Hart following the England keeper's switch to Torino, hailing him as a 'total and complete professional.'

Hart, who was City's longest serving player, was knocked down the pecking order by new boss Pep Guardiola, who favoured Argentine keeper Caballero.

The lack of first-team football saw Hart join Serie A outfit Torino on a season-long loan, which subsequently saw Guardiola make a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

Before Guardiola's arrival at the Etihad Caballero was very much considered to be second-choice to Hart, appearing just four times in the Premier League.

But the Argentine had nothing but kind words for the England goalkeeper, hailing him as a 'robot' and a 'true leader'.

"Hart is an absolute professional, total and complete," Caballero told Tuttosport, as quoted inGoal. "He has a dedication to his work that is uncommon - he's like a robot. He never holds back, not even for a second.

"This is a player who knows how to make his presence felt. He has a strong personality on the pitch and is a real leader.

"In recent weeks it became clear he wouldn't be in the City squad, yet he never stopped working to keep the team together, to be one of us.

"He's world-class and has everything it takes to do well in Serie A."

Hart will kick off his career in North Italy next weekend as Torino face the struggling Atlanta, who have lost their opening two fixtures.

Pep Guardiola, meanwhile, will be vigorously preparing for his first Manchester derby, and of course a clash against old-rival Jose Mourinho, as the two collide next Saturday.
