Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho could yet revive his bid for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic next year.
The Gazzetta dello Sport says United's ongoing pursuit of Perisic has not yet ended, with the Inter Milan winger having a £54m release clause in his new contract.
It was one of the lengthiest transfer sagas of the summer as United tried and failed to get their man, instead opting to focus their attentions elsewhere.
Perisic signed a new Inter Milan contract in the process, but the 28-year-old has a get-out clause if he wants it.
The Italian newspaper say Perisic's five-year deal has a €60m release clause that kicks in next summer, meaning United could still sign the Croatian international.
