But as the midfieldercontinuesto sit on the bench and do anything but play football, he is at least maximisinghis time offby taking his Nan around Manchester to do some shopping.

The two were seen leaving the player's penthouse home and going for a browse in the city centre earlier this week.

Despite their lavish lifestyles, it's always good to see players spendingsome quality time with their families and considering his £100k wages,Schneiderlin's Nan probably had a great day being spoiled by her grandson.

The French international continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Everton currently favourites to sign him in the Januarytransfer window.

It could well be then, that Schneiderlin was showing his Nan around the city of Manchester, before he makes the short trip west to Liverpool.
